She was the best singer that year, hands down. She had an amazing voice and a great performer. I couldn't believe that she was voted out before John Stevens. I understand that she was upset. That year was not that much about talent, it was much more about a popularity contest. That is why it was my least favorite year. But Jennifer was the star.

Well, Jennifer Hudson had her good points. She was a talented singer and extremely attractive, but towards the end, She threw a diva attitude and spewed garbage out of her mouth. I wish she hadn't done that. She proved herself to be immature right then and there. I guess beauty doesn't always come with brains.

Jennifer Hudson can sure sing! Fantasia and Latoya London gave her some competition, but she had her own thing too! Her version of Barry Manilow's song was her best! She sounded a little mixed in some other performances, but she got better and stronger. I'd like her to do an album soon to show her range more.

Jennifer was a very talented singer once she got her act together. She was a promising singer to being with, but she seemed to just lack in a few area's. I think after experiencing the bottom three a few times, she realized she had to step it up a notch, and it apparently worked for her, although she got robbed of a higher spot.

This girl simply has an amazing voice. When she was voted off, I was REALLY mad because I wanted her to win. I bet she'll have a wonderful recording career. TBH, I don't think she even needed to go on American Idol to be recognized. I wish her the best of luck.

Jen is like a cheap set of speakers used to play really LOUD music. The quality of tone goes right out the window.

AWFUL STAGE PRESENCE! I got bad vibes from her...plus strange clothes!

Okay, at first I thought she was a little over-rated, because I followed the show online through it's completion without ever hearing anyone sing. Her first 2-3 performances ranged from shaky to mediocre, but she found her groove, and was becoming *the* best performer out there. She was slowly changing her image, trying new things with her voice that worked, and she got rid of those weird facial expressions and by the time she was booted, I thought she was the best out there. I can't stand most of the other competitor and I've stopped watching since Jennifer was booted.

Jennifer Hudson is the greatest voice the American Idol train could ever hope to find. She has more range and talent than anyone could hope to find. Certainly, Fantasia is outstanding when singing such classics as Summertime and You Were Always on my Mind. Diana has been phenomenal with her renditions of Think, A Broken Wing, This is It, and No More Tears. But when Jennifer delivered Share your Love with Me, Circle of Life, Weekend in New England, and I Believe in You and Me...I was spellbound. I would buy her album before any other shared with the public. She is a star.

Ok, she's weird and has a bad attitude, but I just listened to the song she did on the AI Soul Classics album, and it was phenomenal. Unbelievable even. There are a lot of artists out there with bad attitudes, we just don't get to see them so candidly like we saw Jennifer on American Idol. If she is re-packaged by a major label (and they all are), she will be a major, lasting talent.

BUTT UGLY. Should be on the SWAN and not American Idol. Most of all she has a BAD ATTITUTE, she looks like she was raised by a bad family.

Jennifer got voted off too early in the competition but she is my American Idol this year. She sings with emotion and passion. What a GREAT voice she has! The best out of any contestants this year. She'll have a prosperous career. I can't wait to buy the CD.

I didn't think anyone could do justice to a Gladys Knight classic but Jennifer did. Jennifer will be around a long, long time. The R&B soul community has been looking for someone new and fresh to bring back that ole classic soul vibe and it has been found in the one and only, the magnificent Ms. Jennifer Hudson, attitude and all. AI you have your Diana and Jasmine, the music world now has Jennifer Hudson. Thanks for the early release so she can start her real career. The girl will be hugh. You can take it to the bank.

She had serious attitude problems, and aside from that, she's nowhere near as talented as Fantasia or LaToya, but she thought she was, and that's annoying.

Since she was the clear winner this season, I've stopped watching after she got voted off. Now Latoya gets the boot, what the hell is going on here, America??????????????????
