Heartbreaking loss for me for obvious reasons.  And a 4-2 WS is in the 3 to 4 star range, but the exciting games, offensive explosions, and Joe Carter's epic series-winning HR make this one a four star series.  It's remembered for the HR, but people tend to forget all the exciting baseball leading up to it.

Great ending, although it was from a pitcher whose nickname was the Wild Thing. Mitch Williams looked terrible after he threw the pitch, slipping on the mound. Just another team that does the city of Philadelphia in. And a bonus that they won it for Paul Molitor.

The first team to repeat as champions since the '77-'78 Yankees, the Jays pounded the Phillies, scoring 45 runs despite being shut out in game 5. Joe Carter ended the series with a home run, making it only the second time in history for such an event (Mazeroski in 1960) Paul Molitor went 12 for 24 to lead Toronto and win the MVP.
