Rally monkeys aside, this was a good series. Who can complain about taking 7 games to decide the series.

I acutally enjoyed this series but I just think a lot of people weren't and aren't ready for a completely west coast world series.

Not a great one,but still good. And how wonderful it was,to see Dusty Baker, and especially,Barry Bonds,go away empty handed.Baker, for stupidly using his 3 year old as a bat boy(?!),that nearly got run over at home plate in Game 5(Thankfully,JT Snow rescued him at the last moment). But especially Bonds. After the Giants blew Game 6,big bad Barry, who had piled up the numbers throughout the series, absolutely disappeared in Game 7.It was like he gave up or something. How could that have been? How could he not come through when the series truly counted, after doing what had done in the series up to then?I think he said to himself:"I hit all these HR's and draw all these walks, and they still couldn't wrap it up in Game 6?Ain't my damn fault.F--- 'em.They don't deserve my bat for Game 7.I an't doin' nuthin for 'em.Let 'em win it themselves.I already proved myself." And he pretty much did that, and just sat on the bench, away from other teammates, wrapping and unwrapping the gauze on his right arm, with that obnoxious, sullen look on his prissy face. Then, after it was over, how does greet reporters in the locker room?Simple:"Back off or I'll snap!!" Deserved to lose.May the mean-spirited,self-absorbed prick never get a ring. The Good Guys won,and Troy Glaus deserved the MVP.

I don't care what the result was. It was a great Series, I'm not going to lie.

Not a very good game 7, but as is often the case game 6 provided the most drama. Bonds should have been MVP despite Anaheim winning the series. He had arguably the best individual performance in Series history as well as the entire playoffs.

The first meeting of two wild card teams in the series, and if this is what such a match up is like, hopefully the last. Sloppy and dull.
