Having just returned from the Villanova vs. BC game, I found the Pavillion to be a good venue, not a bad seat in the house. Yea, students should be moved from the end court to the sides, atmosphere would be infinitely improved.

This place stinks...Its a nice little venue in terms of the college feel, but for God Sake move the cheerleaders out of the way. The students have one location to sit and the first few rows can't even be used cause they cheerleaders are in the way. I like the college feel but it was not load, students and fans sat the whole game and it was hard to see the floor with the cheerleaders blocking the view.

Pavillion (Villanova University) 3

I like the Pavillion, but it just doesn't rock the way the old field house did. It feels more like a ski lodge than a college basketball arena. The best seats in the house are reserved for boosters, and the students are crammed into the area behind the baskets. The combination of Villanova's location on the prosperous main line, and the reserved nature of the fans that are in the best seats, have earned Villanova fans the reputation of a wine and cheese crowd. The Pavillion is a nice facility, but doesn't have the atmosphere of some of the other Big 5 locales.
