I've been chewing Cope Snuff for years. I love it. I'm addicted. I find the "made" date very useful. Cope tends to dry out on the shelf. Should be no longer than 2 weeks old. If you are a new user I'd advise quit ASAP. I've been quiting for years, but am still chewing.

I only had two pinches of this before I went to pack it, and the flimsy can opened all over the floor of my car seat. Ive said this before, and I'll say it again. I respect Copenhagen because they've been around forever, and have always had good tobacco with nice natural flavors, but that cardboard can has got to go.

The only other natural I've ever had was Grizz, which tasted like a foot (they're other flavors are great). This tasted like heaven compared to that, but lasted just as long and gave me just as good of a buzz. To conclude, if I ever feel compelled to dip a natural again, I'm not going to pay 2 dollars extra for Copenhagen when it's really not that much better that Grizz.

this is by far the best flavor of copenhagen i have ever experienced...i dont see it sold anymore. but i sure would love some more....keep selling it ...at least to me

Love Copenhagen but it is judt too dang expensive. Try Husky, its made by the same company that makes Copenhagen and its much cheaper. :)

appearence- great looking tin 8/10
smell- great WG smell. unique 7/10
cut- finer thaan most WG but moist to keep it all together 9/10
taste- my favorite wintergreen different 9/10

no reall buzz but who diops for a buzz? thats stupid go buy a beer or roll up a blunt if your looking for an actual buzz overalll a great buy

I've dipped a lot of Copenhagen in my time. All of it has a distinctive flavor. The Long Cut in a cardboard can was the best, in my opinion. I never could pack the Snuff good enough, and it tore up my lip. The Black might have been mid-cut, but it didn't taste like any bourbon I've ever had--and I've had a lot of bourbon--and it tore up my lip worse than the snuff. Overseas Copenhagen in a plastic can is dry and doesn't pack worth a damn. Skoal Classic tastes similar, but didn't tear up my mouth so much and was easier to pack. It's hard to find, but worth looking for.

It doesn't get any better than Copenhagen Long Cut. That cardboard and wax can says it all... tradition, taste, and originality. You really can't beat it once you get used to it. I used to dip Skoal mint, then switched to Kodiak (deadly stuff), then Copenhagen Straight, and then made the switch to Cope Long Cut after a few months in Iraq. Once you get on the Cope train, there really is no going back. Sure, I'll hit up a can of Grizz or Longhorn if i'm in a bind, but Copenhagen Long Cut is simply the best. Certainly it has the best texture, is the proper moistness, and in my opinion it lasts the longest. Copenhagen Whiskey Blend, and that other kind are okay too. What the heck happened to Copenhagen Black? That stuff was the shit. I'd hit that up once in a while... man it was awesome too. So anyway, just dip a few cans and you'll be hooked on that well aged, flavorful stuff that we all know and love... Copenhagen Long Cut.

Copenhagen is good snuff but I hardly ever use it because of its high price. I usually buy about 2 cans per year. The regular smokeless tobacco that I dip is Longhorn.
Copenhagen is the most finest cut smokless tobacco I've ever used. I'm not too crazy about that.
Now they make a few different types of Copenhagen. But when I buy it, I buy the original.
Copenhagen has been making snuff for nearly 200 years. They began making it in 1822. This is a long time. When a product is still being made after nearly two centuries, you know it has to be good. It's not good for you but it's still good. I give Copenhagen a 4 star rating.

This is fine tobacco. Awesome taste and good blast of nicotine. It tends to be more expensive than others. I used this for many years until I found Grizzly Natural to be just as good if not better for about half the price.

OK sure there have been occasional illicit affairs with the only bear I ever bit and since I got no cash anymore to cover a roll a week not even one of those sissy 5 can rolls I've found myself takin a liking to Kayak fine cut natural even though it pales by comparison to Copenhagen and makes me feel even more low down for not having the cash since Florida not to long ago slapped a massive tax on everything no doubt thanks at least partially to our dipshit in chief Well anyhow I'm already starting to digress so I'll leave with a Hoorah for Copenhagen

Cope' is a rocketship to the moon. Fine cut to deliver 30 times the nicotine per volume to smokes. Bad ass stuff, but you'll stay awake while visiting the roller coaster.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the buzz, or maybe the addiction. I get hard when I see a pair of Wranglers with a rub ring on the back pocket, and no, it's not the cowboy I'm into.

I'm glad it's done. I could fall off the wagon even now, but every day is one more I avoid looking stupid while trying to rot my face off with cancer.

Pretty much the only dip I use is Copenhagen Snuff. I'm probably luckier than most of you, living in the Southeast, I can get Copenhagen Snuff for $2.49 a can at the local tobacco stores. It will go up to $3, drop back down, and we get a lot of good promos like buy 10 cans save $5.00, so a full roll then is only $20. I used Skoal Fine Cut W'green for years, but tired of it. Also do like Grizzly Snuff too. We get it here for hardly nothing $7.50 for a 5 can roll. Makes for a nice priced half roll to throw in the fridge in case I forget to buy Copenhagen or won't be a near a tobacco store for a few days.

I have to admit that I love Cope Pouches. My mouth just doesn't keep regular cope contained. I love Cope long cut but it moves around my lip too much and I don't like it left between my teeth. Call me a wuss but I do have a wife and don't have bad breath. I can actually dip at work and no-one knows. With pouches you only have to spit if you want to. I love the pouches.

strong great taste how ever its very high priced not that i wont get it if i dont have the money most of the time i get skoal anyway so it cost the same most of the time but i fine that the taste is so great that it works really well to have a dip after a meal

Good strong flavor. However overpriced! Not too mention if you go camping and it starts to rain you can say good bye to the countainer ( cheap ass cardboard bottom). Unfortantely it has happen to me.

Id have to say Copenhagen Black isnt all that bad lasts pretty long, unique flavor, great company. I personally prefer Copenhagen Long Cut (not Cope Straight, huge difference between the two) and Copenhagen Snuff. Ive tried almost every brand out for chewing tobacco from grizzly to red man you name it ive prolly chewed it tobacco wise yous smart arses who might take that wrong. But from my experience you cant go wrong when chewing Copenhagen heck even Cope isnt all that bad. They all have long lasting unique flavors as for the price it may be a little higher but its like a good cigar or bourbon if its cheap it usually isnt that good.

You can't go wrong with Cope Straight Long Cut. Fairly priced and taste great, a lot of people love it and I do too. You can only find it at certain gas stations/stores which sort of sucks but hey

Cope black is the fuckin best chew ever produced. And we still have it here. I switch off from long cut and black. Black is pretty much pure man. Hits you hard if you gut it.

I did love Copenhagen Smooth hickory, but they don't sell that anymore here in eastern PA... the guys at the Copenhagen stand at the farm show Rodeo said it wasn't a big seller..... I don't know how, shit was AMAZING! Bring smooth hickory back to the masses!



Cope whiskey blend= not bad, strong as hell!
Cope snuff= not too shaby
Cope straight= decent, not long enough
Cope long-cut straight = one of the greatest
Cope smooth hickory = bow down the the best

Nothin better than straight cope longcut. i started off with grizzly but the taste just wasnt appealing to me. the straight copenhagen has a pleasant flavor and doesnt need added flavor to make it enjoyable. any grizz users that disagree and havent tried copenhagen should give it a shot. after a can of cope, youll never go back!

Great natural flavor, but not worth the price.  Grizzly snuff tastes almost the same, gives a bigger buzz, and is half the price.  I dip Grizz Wintergreen, but like getting me a can or two of Cope LC every now and then.  It would be my second choice.

I miss copenhagen black. I'm dipping cope smooth hickory or whiskey blend now but they don't compare to black. And another thing I can't stand when someone says grizzly taste just like copenhagen. Copeenhagen does make some hardcore good old fashion tobacooey dip. If your looking to taste what its like to be a cowboy this is where you go.

on the 8th day, God created copenhagen. this is the best dip you can buy. im talkin bout the old school, long cut and snuff. the ones with the cardboard can and the tin lid- not that new Cope shit. i dont do this alot anymore because its bout four and a half dollars where i live, but everyonce in a while ill splurge and get myself a can. its always satisfying and the taste is unbeatable. Grizzly and some of the others come close, but nothing can compare to good ol copenhagen.
