Considers all walks of life in every decision. Extremely intelligent and easy to listen to.

I didn't think too much of him until his book on Active Liberty came out, which reveals a sharp mind lucidly attuned to the historical republicanism of the Constitution. He's just as sharp as Scalia but much more honest about the interpretative problems Scalia avoids by hewing to a strict literalism.

He appears to have some intellectual heft and is not the croaking lefto that everyone feared. I saw an interview, and he does have a very high opinion of himself.

Undistinguished liberal robot. His decisions in Hardwick, Lawrence and recently Roper are further proof that our constitutional system has eroded to the point of being unrecongnizable. He literally had the audacity to dismiss all positions during open arguments of Lawrence that were founded in morality.

The best Justice on today's Court, and also the most liberal.

One of many justices on this Court who have not given people on the right or left reason to be excited. Readers of the Court can cite a number of opinions written by Scalia, Stevens, Rehnquist and even Thomas and Ginsburg. This doesn't make him a bad justice, even though I disagree with his leftist leanings, he's just forgettable.

A most colorless, quiet and undistinguished member of the High Court. A Liberal mirror image of Clarence Thomas, but much more intelligent, so there's hope for him at least.

The most recently appointed Supreme Court Justice lacks experience although his usual liberal views can always be counted on.
