Probably the best third baseman in the History of the A.L. until, say, the 60's. His home run totals of course aren't impressive by modern standards, but he was a powerful slugger and a clutch postseason performer who was a big part of quite a few postseason clubs. Deserves his Hall of Fame plaque.
