Spent most of his years as a DH, and only played more than 100 games at third base 3 times in his career. Great batter, but he wasn't a great third baseman.

More of a DH, played 3rd at the beginning. Very fine hitter, and a part of a fine if underachieving Seattle team with some excellent HOF level guys like Griffey, Randy Johnson and A -Rod. Unfortunately, got something of a late start, though that didn't stop him from winning 2 batting titles. A class act as well.
