Not much of a fielder, and later moved to first base. Won numerous batting titles in the 70's with The Twins, hitting as high as .388 in '77. Not much home run power, never had more than 14 in a season, but could steal a base. A HOF'er. For those too young to have seen him play, as a hitter, he was most comparable I would say to Gwynn or Boggs for later players.
