I use it to check quick reviews and showtimes for 'blockbuster' type movies. They have a nice drop down menu on the home page that lets you instantly find the mega-hit movie you're looking for and access blurbs of reviews from good sources like the New York Times, as well as find showtimes near your house. While there's a lot of sites that do this, Moviefone just makes it really easy to do.
