I think the Pompadour is kind of cool if you're a rockstar. Elvis pulled it off. I think Chris Isaac pulls it off. Even Rick Astley pulls it off.

Why not? Bring a little bit of the 50's bravado back, a little James Dean never hurt anybody. If anything, it was definitely clean.
