Find a good experienced professional barber or hair stylist for this. This really looks bad when not done correctly and perfectly. Having a nice mane to grab on to from behind can be usefull in repostioning to keep from falling off.

I like Mohawks, but they seem like a lot of work. You need to put an awful lot of gunk in your hair to get it to stand up like that.

Mohawks are no longer unique when so many people have them. People have been sporting them for 20 years so it's far from a new look. Personally I never understood the appeal of these. They make the wearer look ridiculous.

In the current picture shown, I just got me my own mohawk. Its short and wide but it is a mohawk. I may not keep the cut wants in grows out. At some point I will get the haircut again.

This style of mohawk is out. There are new ways of doing a mohawk that actually leave some hair.
