Immensely strong, The Beast crushed baseballs in a way that has seldom been seen. A decent glove, but first basemen are seldom there because of the leather. A hard drinker, Foxx probably shortened his career and may have cost himself the title of best ever at the position. He's close though.

Frightening hitter at the plate, and not much separates him from Gehrig. I regard Gehrig as the greatest ever, but it's more for his fielding being factored into it, they're very close with the bat. A very powerful guy with huge arms like tree trunks.
