Harmon hit more dingers in the sixties than any other player. He had these immensely wide shoulders that made him look like he had football pads on under his jersey, and a short compact stroke that slammed balls out of every park in the league.
Nothing special with a glove, but no liability in the field, and a well deserved Hall of Famer.

A very powerful guy, kind of a poor man's Foxx, if only in the sense that he was a strong muscular guy with relatively low batting averages that were far below the Foxxes, Gehrigs, and Greenbergs of the world. Hit more homers than those guys did though, and part of the reason for those low averages was the fact that he played much of his career at the height of the pitching dominated era of the 60's. He was kind of the prototype in a way for all of the low average but tons of homers guys that came later, such as Gorman Thomas, but clearly considerably better than any of them. Drove in lots of runs, and led the league in homers quite a few times.Helped the Twins to some playoff appearances, though no Series wins. A HOF'er.
