Thomas had some monster seasons in the 90's, but injuries and age have been taking their toll in more recent seasons. It'll be interesting to see what he does with The A's in the coming season. Never much of a fielder, but in his prime a lethal hitter with high averages, lots of power, and great discipline at the plate- a truly great hitter at his peak.
