Superlative glove, probably the best at the position. He virtually shut down the bunt with his aggressive and skilled fielding.
Hit for power with minimal average, and was similar to Mark Grace, although he was a much better glove and a slightly better hitter (when you figure park effects).

Excellent fielder and a solid hitter, good averages though not all that much power, for the Cardinals, Mets, and also played for Cleveland at the end.

He was an arrogant player that I hated but he was a great defensive player and very good hitter.
