I don't know what he looked like when he played (Appling hit .310, with 14 seasons over .300 during his long career) but I saw Luke Appling hit a 300+ foot homerun playing in an old-timers game in Washington D.C. at the age of 75! I'll bet they never needed any viagra in the Appling house.

His nickname was "Old Aches And Pains," and he played until he was 43. Won a couple of batting titles, a Hall of Famer, and an institution with The White Sox, he played with that team from 1930-1950.
