One of the more obscure Hall of Famers, a standout SS of the 1890's and early 1900's, primarily with the Giants and White Sox, who finally made it to the Hall over 50 years after his death, and deservedly so. A great player in his day. While Honus Wagner was unquestionably the greatest SS of his day, there were other very fine, if lesser ones like Davis, Bill Dahlen, and Bobby Wallace at the time as well.
