Very fast player, a Hall of Famer who held the stolen base marks before Henderson. Briefly played for The Cubs, but then went to St. Louis in an infamous trade, where he starred for many years in the 60's and 70's. Broke Maury Wills stolen base record with 118 in 1974, Henderson broke that in '82 Not the greatest fielder, and didn't have great plate disciplin: he struck out a lot, and didn't walk much till his later years- and he is consequently overrated by some. Still, he was a truly great postseason player and did have some power. Inducted to the Hall in '85.
