Remembered by many for holding the career record for being hit by a pitch. When Baylor came up, he was quite fast and stole a lot of bases. But, most remember him as a DH type. He won a very questionable MVP award with the '79 Angels, apparently because he led the league in RBI'S for the division winner, though several guys in the league had better years. Strong guy, capable of hitting monstrous homers. He also played with quite a few other clubs: Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox, Twins, A's.A natural leader, it's not surprising that he eventually became a manager, with some success in Colorado and elsewhere.
