he did it all, and did it clean. my favorite player ever, but due to injuries he still dosent have the numbers mays does. if he stayed healthy id say he would be walking past 800 homeruns right now and past 3000 hits, 2100 rbis, 250 stolen bases and on 14 gold gloves making him greater than any other player ever who had ever lived, but thats an if... so instead he is going to finish up with 650 homers 200 stolen bases 1800 rbi, 2700 hits and 10 gold gloves, which is still pretty great i you ask me.

One of my two favorite baseball players of all-time (the other being Tony Gwynn), if not for the injuries he has suffered in this last decade, we would surely be talking about Ken Griffey, Jr. being the most prolific homerun hitter of all-time- not to mention the greatest centerfielder ever. Nevertheless, his career is still noteworthy, and overall Hall of Fame-worthy (and he did it without any illegal substances inside his system).

Has become very injury prone in the last 5 or so years, but an incredibly gifted all-around player with Seattle in the 90's. Could do it all back then. Will easily make The Hall, and had a fine comeback year in 2005 with Cincinatti.

Had some impressive tools, but the injuries took him. As they have taken other greats before, and they will take other greats in years to come.

Only 3 because he's so injury plagued, the seasons he wasn't were spectacular. Mays-like defensive abilities and could hit for power and average.

without those injuries, Griffey would be showing Bonds how to hit 700 homers without junk in your system. but this is about fielding. amazing fielder. some of those youthful catches he made in seattle, made me put down my beer and salute him

Overrated and injury prone. He will not have the longevity to remain in our kids' memory.
