One of my favorites growing up, he clearly benefitted from playing at Fenway. Was never the same after his last year with them in 1980, though he had some fairly good years after that, like 1982 with the Angels. Excellent glove in center in his early days, usually possessed good to great power, and while not precisely fast, a pretty mobile and aggressive baserunner. Seemed to be on a Hall of Fame track with the Sox, but became something of a vagabond hack in later days, and was always injury prone. Still, a great player in 1975 and 1979.
