One of the more underrated guys in the Hall, IMO. He was a powerful deadball era slugger with Detroit who holds the all-time triples mark. The outfield of Crawford, Ty Cobb, and the largely forgotten Bobby Veach, a big RBI's guy from the 10's and 20's, may very well be even better than the heralded outfield of the same time in Boston of Speaker, Hooper, and Lewis- it's certainly even better offensively than the Red Sox if not defensively. A marvelous player who helped Detroit win 3 straight pennants but no Series in the 1900's, making them kinda like the baseball equivalent of the early to mid 90's Bills in football.

Sam Crawford should be in the top 10. He is one of the all-time greats.
