Great arm, won numerous gold gloves, and had a good eye at the plate with power. Got better with age too, greatest right fielder in Red Sox history, and one of the better ones of the 80's.

Evans was another unsung hero. Probably one of the greatest fielding right fielders ever. Had a cannon arm wand was an excellent hitter. Terrif player.

evans has been my favorite player since i stated collecting baseball cards when i was 10. i also had the opportunity to be at the green moster and yell DEWEY i have over 1000 of his baseball cards and have recently started collecting more of his cards to complete my collection. definitely belongs in the hall of fame.

dewey belongs in the hall of fame.19 years of hard work and commitment with one team.hit the most homers in the 80s in the A.L.S0 cluch,and consistant.the green monster held back a lot of extra homers.

Had the pleasure of watching him throw out several guys taking home. Fantastic arm!!!!!!
