Not much of a fielder, in fact an awful one, had he played in the A.L., he would probably DH all or most of the time- but a very, very good hitter in the 80's when healthy. His numbers are even more impressive when one notes that he played in one of the parks that most favors pitchers- Dodgers Stadium. The closest comparable player might be Manny Ramirez, who's a better hitter, but lacks Guerrero's speed.
