01/27/2006 | Walker may indeed have been helped by Coors Field, but less than most Rockies hitters have, and he was a good player before that in Montreal. He could run, hit for average and power, and field well, including a cannon for an arm. A well-liked, consummate professional both in those places and with St. Louis, about a 3.5 as a player really.
