As oscargamblesfro points out, this guy is a marginal Hall of Famer, to put it very kindly. While he really doesn't belong in Cooperstown, he was a useful pitcher for a number of years, above the average of his period.

A fine pitcher with McGraw's great 1911-1913 team, but other than those years, merely a decent one at best, sometimes bad, sometimes pretty good. Should not be in The Hall by any stretch, but certainly an above average pitcher.
