Paula White is known for her world-wide Giving to many Ministries & her Community. In her early days she & Ex-husband Randy White were the best examples of freely Giving without recognition to Christian Ministries that I know of. She started her Ministry by teaching hope, loving Gods people & encouraging the poor, helping them learn their God-given potential, teaching on Gods promises to those in Christ and being a blessing to the body of Christ. She was an inspiration because she overcame incredible odds to be able to help thousands of hurting & abused woman & show them the way.

Lately, she's becoming known in various circles as a Prosperity & Motivational Speaker, with emphasis on sowing certain amounts for the favor of God. Originally I was grateful that T.D. Jakes gave women a platform at His Woman Thou Art Loosed Conventions. Like Bynum, Paula was also introduced by TD Jakes, whom she has described as her Spiritual Father. Their original messages were making a big difference. Before-hand the Church was mostly silent on issues of poor single, abandoned, abused, molested, divorced, single mothers & hurting women. I cheered on, happy to see God use these women. The transformation came as crowds of people started following & highly exalting Bynum until she appeared carried away in pride with & all of her titles grew (Dr. Anointed, Gift to the world, Prophet to the nations, etc.). Paula has kept a more humble (no titles) profile but her Prosperity messages are turning people off.

I was stunned when she boldly misquoted (on National TV at one of her Empowerment Conferences a few months ago), a judgment Scripture in the book of Ezekiel, " the vision will not tarry & no more delays"as a coming blessing on the way. Any one who reads their Bible in detail knows Ezekiel is a book on the Glory of God departing as He judged His rebellious, Old Testament people for their violence, idolatry, sacrificing their children in the fire to pagan gods, greed, mistreatment of the poor, & not keeping Gods laws. God told His Prophet Ezekiel His rebellious people had become (Spiritually speaking) adulterous prostitutes for going after false pagan gods. No more delays meant the Babylonians were coming to take them into captivity. Their nation was not restored until much later & after their captivity ended. Now when she comes on TV, I quickly change the channel.

Another concern is that people who are not prayerfully studying their Bibles for themselves don't know that God is faithful & true without having to buy a blessing or pay for His favors.

God gives because He is Good, Not because we are deserving by any goodness or actions on our part. God said "He will have mercy on whom-ever He will", simply because it is His good pleasure. He will answer the plea & prayer of a heart that cries out to him without having to pay for it by sending in a certain dollar amount.

Can someone please show me where Jesus ever asked for one penny for healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding the 5,000 men plus their families, & setting people free from demonic oppression?? He told his Disciples to Freely give because Freely you have received.

Then Jesus said then neither do I, go home and sin no more. Now as a firm believer in Christ Jesus God's love has never changed. For all things were created by him and for him. See my review on Joyce Meyer. An interesting fact about Paula is that she is excessively obsessive about people sending her the offerings. She has the nerve to almost demand that the first month, week or day of wages in January be sent to her, and always makes one feel guilty if not complied to. Not to mention some really spectacular scriptural acrobatics she performs in order to make her point.

I'm not into TV evangelists in general, but Paula caught my attention last year.  What she does, I thought all the evangelists do. -ask for money.  There is a lot of mark up in books and publishing, so what if she sells them on her show.  I bought one myself.  I would have bought it anywhere, might as well go to a good cause instead of buying Barnes & Nobles a Mercedes.
I like her!  I was feeling kinda depressed last night, and just caught the last 5 minutes of her program & what she said was very up lifting.  
She was on the news a while ago, listed among many evangelists being investigated by the FBI for running possibly a for profit ministry.  Shortly after, I noticed that her ministry would actually say what they've been doing with the money.  The fact that she is still out there, and doing good, means to me she passed the litmus test.  I hope so anyways.
God is delighted in the chastity of his people.  She is Hot as Heck, and could be a lot of things, but she is using her talents, voice, knowledge, to what she thinks is right.  
She may not always be right, but no one is.  She is in the ball park, and I think she has been making progress.  My version of Christianity is more conservative then Evangelists in general but we don't believe we, or any denomination has all the truth.  I think she is doing good, and making a difference.  I'm even kinda glad she got divorced, it is another reason I might watch her show more.

About a year and a half ago, while watching TBN one evening, Paul Crouch Jr. was having an interview with Paula White. During the interview, Paula claimed that God came to her one night and manifested himself to her. Paula said that God told her that he needed each of her followers to "sow-a-seed" into her ministry of $1,000.00 or more.

Immediately, I got on line and wrote Paula an email, asking her what God looked like? I would like to know because I for one have never seen God. For that matter, no one I know has either, and that includes the Pastor of our Church! Anyway, to this day, I have not even received an acknowledgment from Paula that she received my email. Funny, I've written to her several times.

Now I can't help but wonder if she would reply, if I was offering to sow-a-seed of $1,000.00! 

And the Lord Jesus Christ warned His followers, "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves" (Matt. 7:15).

I do not like the way Paula repeatedly asks for money on TBN. TBN needs to trust the Lord for it's finances. They should not allow people to beg for dollars on their behalf. If they truly believe what they say, "God will bless you if you give to TBN", then why doesn't TBN have the faith believing God will provide whether "I" give or not? Concerning this weblist: my problem is with the condescending "chit chat" that seems to follow between Christians on this "TV Evangelists" weblist. It is the name calling and mocking of each other, which is very childish and unbecoming of the Christian, and how the Lord wants us to act. Now don't get me wrong I never said I was perfect but this particular weblist is out of control and many of the comments are often "of no value, and only ruins those who listen." Paula White is a mess. Last week on the national evening news (NBC) Paula and her husband (is his long flowing robes) were profiled as being under a cloud of suspicion by the way they 'beg' for money. The news report was unflattering as they interviewed one of their 'contributors' who has given thousands of $$$ to their ministry as a result of Paula begging for people to give their pay checks...They showed the expensive cars (brand new Mercedes) that Randy drives and the multi million dollar home they live in...They also showed expense reports which look suspicios as millions - literally millions flow into their ministry - for what ? So Randy can drive a new Mercedes ?These are not ministers of the gospel - these are nothing short of grifters and cons...shame shame shame.

Mother Theresa never asked for a dime from anyone. She said Christ would make sure that she had what she needed to take care of the poor. One time, in Cleveland, she spoke to a gathering of business people. After her talk, a man walked up to her & gave her a check for a million dollars. This happened throughout her life.

My belief is that any 'minister' who asks for money should be ignored. If you listen to them, and they are teaching God's word correctly, the Holy Spirit will inspire you to give a donation. That's how it works.

Revised: Randy and Paula White Divorce: A Scandal in the Making It's been nearly a week since Randy and Paula White announced their plans for a divorce, and still nothing has been stated that indicates that either of them has biblical grounds for a divorce. I am really surprised that neither, Randy or Paula White has come clean to confess, admit, or acknowledge any wrong doing before the body of Christ, or at least their congregations. Both Randy and Paula White have been linked to other people (Paula White has been linked to Rick Hawkins and Randy White has been linked to his ex-porn star female personal trainer, which of course is an innocent relationship). I understand that both Randy and Paula White are high profile superstar ministers, but for the sake of the believers who trusted their leadership, it would have been best if neither had been linked to anyone.

We as the Body of Christ, lack discernment or we are just naive or plain stupid. No ministry could withstand the scrutiny of a secular reporter that is more concerned with the story than the truth. In fact, no one can withstand that kind of attack. I am not here to defend or accuse the Whites. I do not have enough of the facts. If all you know is what is written in the paper, you dont either. I think these kinds of articles show what the modern church is made of. Can you imagine a reporter that reported on Elijah taking the cake from the widow and her sonit would have been a scandal. The woman mentioned in the stories STILL GOES TO THEIR CHURCH!. It seems odd since the reporter implies that the Whites took her for over a hundred thousand dollars. We cannot do anything about the Whites and the perceived lifestyle they live. We can do something about the way we judge others. The body of Christ needs to know that the accuser of the brethren is working in the press today. Wake up.

Heard this dispicable woman on her show today, along with some huckster named Steve, just go on and on about the year 2007 and how the number 7 is a number of completeness and how God rested on the 7th day, Jesus 7th phrase that he spoke from the cross was "It is finished," etc., and then tell people that they need to send her $77.77(Even told business owners to send $7,777)so that they can get a "complete blessing from God." This is indefensible and outright merchandising the people of God. I don't want to hear one more person say that we just need to "pray" for these people. I believe we need to actively warn the gullible sheep out there that these people are just plain no good. May God have mercy on them when they face Him in judgment, and they have to account for every penny they took from the widows, the poor, and the destitute.

I have listened to paula white when she talked about first fruits  and I jumped up in amazement when i heard her misquote Gen.4:7 She said that this scripture had to do with his harvest or our harvest but either way that was wrong. To sum it up in the scripture God asks cain why do you look so down cast. Don't you know that if you do the same thing your brother does I will bless you? But if you do not sin (demon of Murder) is crouching at your door; it desires to have you but you must master it.  This is not talking about money or material things. God was talking about the Demonic spirits he was entertaining.( Jealousy, enviousness, Murder) God was encouraging him to stop listening to the negative thoughts in his head and learn to master his thoughts. This is why we as children of the lord really need to calm down and really listen to what these preachers are saying. The only way you can be a sheep being led to slaughter is if you are very, very, VERY immature in the lord. That means you believe and don't question anything they say or do you're just devoted. Wake up!!! do not let the lord return and you have fallen asleep like the disciples did. they were not just physically asleep they were spiritually asleep and that's why jesus was so angry with them. Pay attention, stay focused and no matter what keep moving. (keep learning and growing in the lord. don't become stagnant) amen
