My husband and I had our truck repainted in October of 2003. The first time, the centers manager called me back and requested more money for the job(150). The check was cashed out by another woman that did not work there. The paint was flaking off the truck and we paid an extra 500 to have the rubber, door handles, etc. removed and painted over. That was never done, and they kept the truck for three weeks. We took it back within the week, when parts of the paint started flaking off. The manager gave us a bottle of paint and told us to fill in where ever the paint fell off. The third time we took it back, the new manager apologized and said it was a very bad job and he would have to redo it. OneDay Paint and Body kept the truck for over two weeks and the truck was still not done properly. We could see they still had noth bothered to take the parts off the truck and paint under it. When we opened the door, the metal inside, both on the door and cab of the truck were yellow. It was supposed to be blue. The paint was still flaking off. The only difference was they had taken off the bed and sprayed in between the cab and the bed of the truck. We called the area manager he offered to honor the five year warranty and have us bring the truck back in. We wanted are money back or the truck atleast painted back to the original color, since the paint kept flaking off. We went to another place that took pictures of the truck after One Day Paint and Body's nightmarish paint job. Unfortunately, both me and my husband are in the military and due to deployments, are unable to legally pursue this matter. Don't waste your time with this company; we lost 2,000.00, plus the cost of having to pay another place to do it correctly.
