I laughed so hard when I saw it on television. I immediatly went searching for some episodes on Youtube.

Quite funny...great concept for a show. Certainly 100 times more original than anything network TV can come up with (i.e. CSI, JAG, SUV, MCIS, you get the idea).

Sorry, I just don't see the point in taking a weird Japanese reality show and then translating it poorly into English to make it even more ridiculous.

Pointless boring crap, the show is based on a Japanese show that puts contestants through various obstacles. Nobody seems to actually win any thing and the American commentators appear to make up a script to go along with the visuals. All in all if you have seen one episode you have seen them all.

Is it not obvious that the american script is made up? of course it is. that's the humor of the show. you take the ridiculous antics performed by these japenese game show contestants and dub crude american (often sexual) humor over the whole thing. i'll admit they tend to get a little redundant and after seeing about 3 episodes it sort of loses its edge, but there's always one or two things in each show that will undoubtedly make you laugh. Is it the best show ever? no, not by a long shot. but compared to the rest of the crappy reality shows, it at least has the humor factor going for it.

Right you are, Ken, is one of the more popular sayings in our house. Al beit, Baba Ganoush (a gross recipe made of eggplant, but otherwise used on the show), is another fave-- the characters, not the eggplant.

Consider this more of a game show in its original untranslated form than a reality show. 2 back to back episodes are about my limit, because it is SO VERY FUNNY that more than an hours worth makes me hurt physically. I dont know how anyone can consider this comedy stupid, (probably Will and Grace fans). The references are sometimes obscure, but almost always astute and brilliantly timed. Any fan of the Mystery Science Theater series should enjoy MXC. The sporting event set up w/Vic and Kenny as commentators is another brilliant idea. Always hilarious, on many levels and for many different reasons.

This show makes me piss my pants. Seeing people smash their face and genitals is funny enough, but the explicit rapidfire commentary puts it over the top.

The original version (Takeshi's Castle) has much of the same scatalogical humor. Who doesn't like fart jokes and endless adolescent doodie and sexual references?

Although t can be a bit racy at times, the subtitles that they use make it funny.

MXC is the pinnacle of humiliation and stupidity in society... and I love every second of it. The social commentary is hilarious, the characters are throuoghly entertaining, and the dubbing (which is for humor than how close it is to what the person said) is top notch. Three cheers for MXC!

You either love or hate this show. I personally loved it. I think those challenges are just so funny. Why did they never started an american version of that show? It probably wouldn't be that funny anyway.

Definitely the best show on television. There is nothing I like better than sitting down to watch Kenny, Vic, the Captain, and Guy Le Douche watch a bunch of morons try as hard as they can to injure themselves.

It says something about how bad reality tv really is that this dumb slapstick is at the top of the list.

I find this show completely asinine and stupid, I don't know why it's rated so high.

This show is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. Japanese people doing silly stunts, with really badly dubbed american voices, making a mockery of the whole thing. We need more of these shows!

I used to watch it but it always seems to be the same games. Do these people actually like these games because some look really painfull. But I guess some people will do enything for money, and those voice overs are funny too.

THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS SHOW I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE GAME SHOWS LIKE THIS. THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE DOING REAL CRAZY STUNTS. NOT ALL STAGED LIKE 99% OF ALL THE OTHER SO-CALLED REALITY BILK OUT THERE. THE DUB OVER IS GOOD IMPROV, ALTHOUGH THE REDUNDANCY OF ALMOST EVERY JOKE POINTING TO SEX GETS A LITTLE TIRESOME (THERE IS LIFE AFTER SEX) THE FLY PAPER EVENT IS ONE OF THE BEST ALONG WITH THE LOG CROSSING AND THE HUMAN PINBALL.

This show cracks me up to no end. This is proof that pain can be funny (especially with people swinging on ropes and bashing into walls, and slamming face-first onto big plastic log-like things); the voiceovers are hilarious (pay attention, or you'll miss a lot). Gotta watch this at least once.

This is probably the most hilarious show I've ever seen. And I normally don't laugh at this type of thing!

Ubelievably funny! Not as creative as Banzai, but you've got to love the overdubbing! If you like(d) Vanzai, you'll LOVE MXC. How do you spell that? M-X-C, Ken! Work down there without a care...Condomints!

You have to see this show to believe it. Who are these people? And how and why do they bounce up laughing and smiling after getting smashed by a boulder, driven into a rock, etc.

This is the funniest show i have ever seen. I have never seen anything like it.

Bring on the pain, suffering and humiliation! Especially funny with Kenny's top 10 list at the end for the ones you gotta see twice.

Alsough this isnt a reality show per se, I love it! The voiceovers are the best, and never fails to crack me up. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without the wipeouts. the crashes on boulder dash are the bast by far. Everyone gets run over and then they tumble backwards! What else is funny is how they give all those japs american names! That cracks me up! But the best part is how they incorporate all those jokes and remarks into the show. Fantastic.

My absolute favorite show. I think those that don't think the commentary is funny are just too slow-witted to get it. Those guys are hilarious.

I love this show it is so funny.

Compared to the short-lived Banzai, MXC is both mean-natured and extremely crude. The moronic announcers manage to put in many nauseating dirty jokes and more. Also, the events don't vary, and are not nearly as creative as Banzai's Squirel Fishing.

Combine What's Up Tiger Lily, The Three Stooges, American Gladiators, Iron Chef, and a dash Fear Factor and you get MXC. The physical comedy of seeing Japanese citizens getting crunched, scrunched, clobbered, smashed, and bashed would make it hilarious in itself. But add the very funny dub-overs and you get one of the most humorous shows on TV. By far, SPIKE TV's best show.

This is a great show...It's Mystery Science 3000 meets Japanese Physical Challenge Game show. The writing is crisp, the delivery and timing excellent, the results are hilarious.
