Sounds like an invitation to shoplift.

Don't be a loser and fall for that crap.

You could win something, all right -- a free ride in a cop car!
CherrySoda99 06/29/2006
You could always steal the thing...

If you can manage to escape getting caught shoplifting, the chance to win is yours.

What a great trick for the police to use to catch crooks. I think this may be a typo.

Obviously this is the shoplifter special.

I'd almost bet that some smart lawyer (is that an oxymoron) could make a case that Frito-Lay is in effect offering the snack for free, because it plainly states that no purchase is necessary, while directing you to look inside for details. I don't put anything past the legal profession.

I understand the comical gist of this label, but sometimes all you have to do is just go to the website and check to see if you have a chance to win, or get one of the forms from the advertisement next to the chips and send it in to get a game peice, so in a way, if you look around it, there really is no purchase necessary.

I've never understood the No Purchase Necessary thing, 'cause if you happen to win, you have to provide the UPC number or some equal kind of proof of purchase. And if the details are inside, you have to eat half a bag of Fritos to read 'em, anyway.

In my case the inside would say.... SORRY, TRY AGAIN LATER.
abichara 03/25/2004
Meaning that we can open every bag of Fritos in the store to see if we're a winner?
