Because it’s so crowded every night, my friends and I are always forced to congregate near the door, which leads to a chilly drinking experience. The drinks are decent, and the décor is hilarious. They have wooden clocks, weird plastic animals hanging from the ceiling, and paintings of animals on the walls. I recommend coming here earlier in the evening to stake out a table or decent standing space.

I think Latin America Club is a pretty decent dive in the Mission. It's dark as usual for the Mission with the also usual red lighting. Make sure you bring your cash also since it's cash only here. Bartenders are sometimes cranky, but I allow bartenders a little room to be lame usually ;)

This is a decent hole in the wall bar in the upper mission. There's not much latin american about it besides the painting of the chihuahaha and the bohemia pinata. There's a pool table, a few tables to sit at.
