I think this was one of the shows created along with 77 Sunset Strip and many others. The stories were pretty light weight as were the related programs but they were well made and entertaining for the time. Connie Stevens was super and she really could sing. Even my Dad enjoyed her singing and he hated most of the pop and rock music of the era.

What a great show! It's being shown on the Goodlife cable channel on Tuesday nights. If you want to see a fresh young Robert Conrad as detective Tom LoPaka, a young cherub faced Connie Stevens and a devilishly handsome Anthony Eisley, then this is your show. It's set in the Hawaii of the late 50's and early 60's. Great scenery and captivating plots..It's a real treat to hear Connie Stevens sing while Poncie Ponce strums his ukelele...
