skoal is probably thought of as the "frat boy" of smokeless tobacco, but the truth is it is just as satisfying if not better than grizzly and cope. The various flavors make skoal one of the most desired brands of smokeless tobacco. Apple, Cherry, Berry, Citrus, Peach, Wintergreen, Straight, Mint, Spearmint, new skoal edge, and probably a few others i forgot to name make skoal as popular as it is. i have been dipping for almost three years now, and skoal is the best in my book. Yes the price is a little much, but it is worth every cent. skoal apple is my favorite. Because i have heard many say that peach and citrus are too light, but they do not want wintergreen, mint etc. Apple is the perfect midway point. It is strong, but sweet.

i tried skoal edge winter green long cut and it gave me a really good buzz and the flavor wasnt that bad but iv tried peach longcut from skoal and cayak and the skoal was way better flavor and buzz wize and iv tried the mixed berry pouches i just like those because it prevents me from gettin shreds all in my mouth and teeth and so i can dip in movie theatres lol

Dip isn't that great, but I'd have to say wintergreen tastes pretty damn good, but really the buzz isn't the beat... If I dipped it would be for flavor only

i tried skoal wild berry for the first time 2 weeks ago and i think it is great. It has just enough flavor and it gives you a good buzz. I am now going to try citrus today and ill see how it is.

I enjoy skoal it tastes great and lasts long. There is only one negative and that is that it doesnt pack the nicotine punch that my cravings demand. Some kinds are a little overly sweet, personally I thinkthe unflavored straight is the best of the lot. I quit so maybe my memory of the staight isn't the best. The major down side is this shit costs a bit more than grizzly.

Skoal Straight Is A Damn Good Dip! I Jus Tried It Like 2Days Ago, but its a damn good dip. I also reccomend Skoal Citrus Belend, that's some good stuff too yall

I've been dippin for about 4 years now. Here are my rating on the skaol flavors:
Wintergreen-only for veterans and decent at beast (2 stars)
Mint- once again for veterans and a great change from blends(4.5 stars)
Speriment- worst flavor ever made (0.5 stars)
Vannilla- not very good on its own (0.5 stars)
Cherry-right in the middle between hardcore and fruity (5 stars)
Straight- good once in a while(2.5 stars)
Berry-good for rookies but the extar syrup in the dip gives you a stomach ache (1.5 stars)
Peach-good for rooks decent on its own(2 stars)
Citrus-great for all dippers once in a while but you eat it like candy and rip your gums to peices in no time (4.5 stars)
Apple- yucky makes me sick if i dip more then a can in a row(1 star)
Frost- although its gone now it was excellent and hardcore like a mint mixed with wintergreen (4 stars)

My secret recipes:
Chilla- Buy a tin of cherry and a tin of vanilla, dump both out and mix them around together. fill your 2 tins with the concoction and dip the remains b/c you wont be able to fit it all back into the 2 tins. (5 stars)
Cheach- Cherry and peach. same method of mixing (4.5 stars)

A very high quality dip, with great flavor choice. overall, a great dip

skoal is pretty good, in terms of flavors. I always get excited when im trying one of their new flavors. However, there is no enough nicotine in skoal to satiate my ravenous desires. Also, its expensive.

A very good brand, and always quality tobacco. It is very pricy though. My favorite flavored dip is apple.

i find that the pouches are alot weeker. but if you put in 2-3 at a time it works just fine. i love skoal! it has great taste and it packs quite well. it lasts for a long time to - you can leave a dip in for a hour or so and it still retains its form without falling apart all over in your mouth. it will stain your teeth pretty bad though. but hey what dip doesnt! overall its the best chew on the market- well in my oppinion anyways. i recomend trying berry blend and peach blend for new dippers just to get you used to the taste of the tobacco. after that skoal mint or wintergreen is what i would recomend. i have been dipping for 3 years now and have tried many brands but find that this one even though the cost is higher its worth it.

i must say workin nights or at a place where you cant smoke its terrible so i started chewin skoal cope husky rooster kyiak cougar gold river smoky mountain grizzley kodiak red seal snus by marlboro and camel every brand out there i guess you could say im a conosour or whowever you say it but the best is skoal citrus berry is nasty and the above mentioned brands plain suck because of nasty taste taste like dog azz but skoal has been there for me so ill keep payin my$ to get the finer things in life

Not huge on skoal, but i like it every now and then.
Berry: didn't really like it, buzz wasnt good, taste wasnt good..and it was a waste of 5 bucks...
Mint: decent, i prefer grizzly mint though.
Wintergreen: sucked...i hate all wintergreens
Apple: ok, what i started out on, decent flavor though
citrus: excellent. pretty decent buzz, great flavor.
peach: doesnt taste peachy...but it was ok.
straight: just another straight dip in my book.
soon to try cherry and vanilla.

Skoal is so amazing. I like to chaw it when I'm in school and spit behind my seat. I end up swallowing the tobaccy in the end cuz there's nowhere to put it. But that's how good this shit is....I'll swallow it. I'm bout to go get me some more.

I started dippin when i was 16 and I thought Skoal was the shit but now i have to horseshoe a third of a can to get any buzz at all... so i tried Grizzly and it tastes sooooo much better and i don't have to use so much at one time! and grizzly is half the price so i spend less money per can and use fewer cans each week!!!

The variety in Skoal flavors is amazing. You got staight, wintergreen, mint, citrus, apple, cherry, vanilla, berry, and natural. All these flavors are real tight. The only problems i have with skoal are that it's
1. too expensive, and 2. there is not enough nicotine to satisfy my cravings. I would definately use this product 24/7 if they changed those two drawbacks. Still a 5 though.

I've tried Cope, Kojak and Redman, and Skoal is the best of the bunch. Not too moist, not to dry and cut just right. There's also a flavor to suit everyone. Personally I like the minty flavors (mint, wintergreen) and the fruity flavors (citrus, berry, apple). Straight is also outstanding, has a kinda syrupy flavor to it. However Skoal Cherry and Vanilla taste really bad.

well i have been dipping for a few months, i have all the skoal except for straight at one point, i believe that citrus is the best, peach is good too. apple and wintergreen suck, wintergreen tastes like pure salt to me, mint is okay. Kodiak wintergreen is very good, its good quality, a little bit cheaper and the cut is nice and thick so it doesnt fall apart. i give it a three because of the incosistency in the flavor.

Skoal berry is the way to go i suggest it to anyone who wants something new. ive tryed most flavors and the just dont do it for me. i also like the apple but it seems to give me heart burn.

skoal is not my favorite. but if you feel like treating yourself to a little flavor then id recommend skoals flavors. the are by far the best flavored chew on the market. but cope is by far better than skoal straight or original.

Skoal is great. However some of the flavors are absolutely ridiculous. Citrus is the worst thing to hit my gums ever. Berry and apple both suck as well. I do not mid mint, spearmint, or cherry. However, my baby is skoal straight. I love that dip with a passion. The only ting better is Cope Whiskey blend

Mint and Straight are the best. I rotate these with Kodiak. Good buzz from all three. They got me through law school. Skoal brands are a bit saltier though so I rate them 4 instead of 5.

Skoal Mint is perhaps one of the best smokeless products out there. The only reason why I'm dropping it a star, is that when you look at this stuff closely you will see it glisten- even when dry. They have micro-sized glass spicules in there to direct inject this into your gums. While I know why they do this(makes the effect stronger), I would like for them to disclose this in the ingredients. They have ingredients for chewing gum, so why not chewing tobacco. Anyhow, for log cut, Skoal Mint. For loose leaf, Levi Garrett. I would prefer that they lay off the ammonia in tobacco. In the higher end brands, it's not so prevalent, but it is there. I would like to not have ammonia in my mouth- whether or not it decreases nicotene absorption. Maybe they can make some organic skoal or something that doesn't try to nuke you ever time you dip. Just a thought and more likely a dream.
