Over twenty years ago my dad used to give me free samples of this chewing tobacco when it was brought to where he works. I could not stand it. The taste nearly made me cringe.
If you're a tobacco chewer, this is a brand that you should not chew. Chew Levi Garrett or RedMan. They're much better. I give Taylor Pride a 1 star rating.

This is a pretty good chew - not quite as good as Levi Garrett IMO. It's got a sweet taste, but not too much. I prefer it in plug form, but it's pretty expensive - more than $4 a cut in NC. I like to buy a few cuts when I'm camping or at the lake. A cut usually lasts me 2-3 days - I typically only chew twice a day. It's nowhere near as strong as Days Work or Cannonball but it will generate a buzz if you're relatively new to smokeless tobacco. And it's a good change of pace for those of you that stick with only one brand/flavor.

Taylor's Pride is actually a fantastic chewing tobacco and for the price,it's a great tasting tobacco...sort of a buttery/creamy kind of sweetness to it.

It's good got a creamy taste.

Only chaw out there I can tolerate.

Taylor's Pride smelled like a cigar. The product was very good, it was my favorite plug. I still have one cut in an old hunting vest, close to 3 years old now.

Seriously, I don't know if I had a "bad can" or something but the stuff tastes exactly like nose hair.

I have enjoyed Taylor's for years. I prefer it over the other leading brands. The only drawback is sometimes it has too many stems.
