 | oscargamblesfro (76) 09/11/2006 | John in the early 70's was quite good, I agree with edt4, and John also put on good shows, but almost everything he did from the mid 70's on was either silly, boring, unremarkable, or annoying. As for Joel... if somehow forced to see this show, round about the time that Joel started doing that horrid "Miami 2017" song, the one about seeing the lights go down on Broadway, or "We Didn't Start The Fire" is when I'd be hoping a giant tidal wave would obliterate the stadium.

 | edt4 (99) 09/11/2006 | I have to agree with Djahuti on this one. There was a time when John actually was a worthwhile musical performer, but that was a long, LONG time ago. And the "music" of Joel was never worthwhile, in my opinion. Double the banality; double the pain...probably double the profit, given the pitiful taste of the bulk of the American public.
