Too much media attention was spent on every detail, of her time spent in jail.

Eh, I've heard enough about her. What more can I say about someone whose American accent is so thick it annoys me?

Another "celebrity" I couldn't care less about, but, because the media deemed her worthy of saturation coverage, it was absolutely impossible to escape her ubiquitous image. Originally from Nutley, NJ, I have family members who knew her years ago, when she was an unknown model, and it appears she was always a shrill, unpleasant woman. I do agree with the contention that if she were a man, she wouldn't receive nearly as much condemnation as she has (imagine if Donald Trump had breasts instead of a ridiculous hair-style). Still, a grasping, overly-ambitious crook is a grasping, overly-ambitious crook, whether said crook is male or female. The bottom line is I couldn't care less about her, or what happens to her. I don't watch her TV show, I don't read her magazine, I don't care if she goes to jail, I don't care if she gets adbucted by aliens, I don't care if she has a religious epiphany and devotes the rest of her life to helping the sick and needy...but, no matter how little she matters to me, the media will make sure that I never escape her stern, aging visage, whether it's in the newspaper, magazine, TV...whatever. Wouldn't it be great if we, as a society, made as much of a big deal about people who were truly worthy of such attention? Just a thought...

Yes, and with two new TV shows, Martha will continue her high profile with media journalists. She seems to have already transcended her prison experience and come out stronger. Heard Martha Stewart's new "Apprentice" catchphrase? It would have been appropriate for her warden to say to her on her last day of prison: "Martha, you just don't fit. Goodbye."

i personally know people that have done far worse than she did and not even do 1 day in jail. something is wrong with our judicial system. punishment isfor one thing supposed to be a detriment to crime. i hardly think martha stewart was going to continue to become a criminal because she didnt recieve a prison sentence. she wasnt punished for her crime she was punished for the effect it would have on the public and she was used as an example. well i never heard that if you commit a crime cruel and unusual punishment is acceptable if you just want to show the world nobody is above the law. she could have been sentences to some community service that could have benefitted others

I don't like her, never did, never will, and I'm sick of reading about her.

Hey, Martha, what kind of a bird doesn't fly?
