04/19/2004 | Faltered badly since losing goaltender Turko to suspension. He's back before the playoffs, and if he returns to form they'll be tough. Will likely face Vancouver or Colorado in the first round and are capable of beating either of them. A long shot for the cup, but they could surprise. UPDATE: Turco was simply awful in goat, and one wonders if his suspension caused him to lose his edge. Didn't even tire Colorado out.

04/17/2004 | 4/4: If their star players can show that they can win without their goalie, be on the lookout as Modano is a threat to everyone, but they may not go to the conference semifinal. 4/17: Definitely so! OK, they were out since the beginning since the Avs had a lot of great players and commitment. Aebicher in his first series had lots of help to notch the team to the next level and have the opponent SEEING stars (pun for concussion).
