I do have some respect for nashville and thier fans though, after that series, that is. Even though they made some pretty stupid comments about our players; like, their an arrogant bunch, cocky, nothing could be further from the truth. If you've lived in detroit , or ever stayed here briefly, chances are you've run into a redwing somewhere; out on the town. And they will talk to anyone, and they tip well, too, ha,ha. GOOOOOOOOO WingSSSSSSS

 | irishgit (137) 04/19/2004 | Face the Redwings in the opening round. Will be fortunate to win a game. Too slow, too small, poor defense, bad goaltending. The ideal opening round opponent for a Detroit team which always seems to start slow in the playoffs. UPDATE: Played better than expected and briefly made it a contest. Gave Detroit a warmup for Colorado.

 | excelsior30 (8) 04/17/2004 | 4/4: Let's face it, Detroit learned what happened last year to Anaheim, and since many of the players were on that team, they will not let history repeat itself. recent: I saw them make a great run, but it wasn't enough as they are the 8th seed. they should also capitalize on Legace quickly before the Wings made the decision of changing to Cujo, winning their draws and improving the power play. Good future for them though, but hat's off for their inagural playoff season.
