Paid $300 for 5 mins of work.

Got home one evening to find my refrigerator was on, but very warm inside, there was no cooling going on.... Called "Low Rates Appliance Repair" and made an appointment for a technician to come out that evening. They called back and told me that he was going to be there early, I told them that was fine! He pulled up at around 6:30. He literally walked in pulled out a capicitor and a switch that were bad, walked back to his truck to get replacements, plugged them in and got the thing working. GREAT (I thought to myself)... Then he said $295.... Did an internet search for the parts (that I asked him to leave behind) and found both parts for less than $30....

Kinda felt like I should have at least gotten a kiss afterward.....

Like the other reviewer, bad experience. Will not use again. These people missed two appointments. Kept deposit money, even after missing the second appointment. Poor communication and lack of integrity. We thought we would save money because of the Low Rates name. The next appliance repair company completed the job AND did it for $30 less.
