05/04/2004 | They lost the chance to clinch the division, so they are going to stumble soon despite that they have additions of vetrans (namely Leech). The goaltending may be the one that can save them. update- OK, so they have heart in their goaltender after winning over their nearest rival in Canada, but with injuries, can they stop a team that had a lot of rest and solved Martin Brodeur recently? 5/4 update: With lots of weight and speed on that Flyer team, nope. They should have won at home today as this series was see-sawing between home arenas and the home team wins. Though they had heart, they had not enough of it to stop Philly's way of finishing checks. Sorry Carlton, (their mascot is a polar bear) I thought they can win, but I guess you will have to wait two years.
