Having read all of these reviews, I think ya'll is a bunch of Peckerwoods that need to handle yo' on life and get on good with the next's one. Tom Martinoez has been a good friendly folk to me, my wife, my sister, my Aunt and all the rest of my kin. He was a knowin' when the "Traveller's" come to town, we did good work on pavin' sidewalks, roufin' and such. Just cause we took off a bit, or stole a bit, or saw a bit of jewelry and made off it with it, it was a "Martino" thing. Takin' money for sayin' somethin's good AIN"T no CRIME in the here US of A! In point of fact, when we made money from someone that weren't right, like a retard of handicapped or blind or Mongoloidish, we called it "Doing Martino", haha! But i regress. Tom Martino done does us a favor for when we swindle, lie and cheat, we only do it for our families, just like'm, causin we paid his referral service and they sent us a business... shoo we, it was hoffen' so many people! Now we only buy lots of drug houses to turn in... Read more

I have used four companies on the Martio referral list and have been dissatisfied three times. One company even told me they charge extra because it is very expensive to be on his Web Site. Exactly what he fought against 20 years ago. I experienced horrendous problems with Brothers Plumbing (on his list). Finally I contacted the BBB and my problem was solved. Not hard to figure out who buys his lunch!

You are a whore Tom Martino. A traitor to this country. You and your list. Does anyone in your group check to see if the companies you take money from and pump up are E-verifying? Hell no! I've seen your listed companies pull up and not one lick of english spoken, and a window sticker saying piss on la migra. Why don't you put the ez back on the end of your name where it belongs! Thoamasito Martinoez. Nice teeth. Would'nt mind seein you shitting them teeth for a week. I remember when you came to this state, did'nt like you then and seein as how you and your list don't do a damn thing to safegaurd the American Citizen that has turned into loathing. So puff your weak little chest up with all the narcissistic drivle that comes out of your mouth. A lot of us see you for what you are, and greed is your ticket to hell. Tell Paula she has a fat ass, and it is about to swallow her face. Burn in Hell Thomasito!

This complaint is on the company "Core Health Innovations" (they are on Tom's referral list) that owns "lep-to-thin" and "Ignite Maxx" weight loss products. It's also about Tom and staff not helping me to resolve/negotiate a resolve of the problem with Core. I had a complaint on the way the company handled my purchase. I called Mike, on Tom's staff, several times and he said he was going to talk to the President of the company and have him get back to me but he never did. When I tried to call the "Core" office - not only is the office staff rude but so was the President. They even were so brash as to say that Tom and staff were on their side! Why wouldn't Tom or Mike tell me that if that was so? By this time I decided I had enough proof of the problem to turn them into the Better Business Bureau. I wrote everything up - sent it to the Denver BBB. They contacted me and said "Core's" headquarters was in Canada. The complaint was forwarded to Canada - The Canadian BBB was very... Read more

WE RECENTLY NEEDED NEW WINDOWS FOR OUR HOME. WE TOOK 3 COMPANIES OFF THE TROUBLE SHOOTER REFERRAL SITE. WE GOT THE BEST BID FROM A COMPANY CALLED NORCO HOME IMPROVEMENT. THE DAY OUR WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED THE OWNER NORMAN COONS SHOWED UP WITH HIS HELPER, THIS GUY WAS AN ASS. HE WAS SWEARING AND TEARING OUR WINDOWS OUT WITH A CROW BAR INSTEAD OF SCORING AROUND THE WINDOWS. HE BROKE OUR WOOD SIDING IN SEVERAL PLACES, BROKE 6 OUT OF 9 TRIM BOARDS, BROKE CLEAR THROUGH ONE OF OUR WINDOW SEALS IN THE BAY WINDOW, CRACKED OUR WALL AND TORE OFF ENOUGH EXTERIOR PAINT THAT OUR NEWLY PAINTED HOME LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN HIT WITH HAIL. WE HEARD HIM SAY SEVERAL TIMES HE MEASURED WRONG TO HIS HELPER, WHEN WE ASKED HIM ANYTHING, HE WOULD SNAP AT US AND SAY I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS 40 YEARS I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. THE WINDOWS LOOKED HORRIBLE WHEN HE WAS FINISHED. HE PUT STRIPS OF VINYL ON OUR WINDOW SEALS AND AROUND THE INSIDE OF OUR WINDOW FRAMES ON THE DRY WALL. THERE WAS CAULK EVERYWHERE, BIG GOBS JU... After reading the last review I checked on Referrallist.com and could not find any landscaping company, or any company for that matter, with the name of Slaton Brothers. So perhaps Martino is not “just another paid off idiot that could give a crap about you.” I own PC Answers, a local computer service company with a service center in Littleton and mobile service that covers the Denver Metro Area. I am a member of Tom Martino’s Referrallist.com and damn proud of it! People gripe that you have to pay to be on Tom’s list. Do they gripe that companies pay the Better Business Bureau? Do they gripe that companies pay Dex or Verizon to be in the phone book, radio stations to have their ads on air, TV stations to have their ads on TV, that companies pay to pass out flyers? NO THEY DON’T! So why do they gripe about Referral List? I pay tons of money to the BBB, radio stations, yellow pages, flyer distributors every month. Do I HAVE to pass an annual background check every year to buy those a... Read more

I wanted to hire the best retaining wall builders in the state, so I went with a Tom Martino recommended company called Slaton Brothers. Money was no object, I just wanted it done right. They gave me a very high estimate, but I went with them because the All Mighty Martino gave them his blessing. They came in, tore up my new sidewalk and driveway with their equipment, not to mention the new asphalt that Lakewood had just put in the street. They started building the wall with the wrong block, and were eating their lunch on one of my neighbors pick nick tables, and threw their trash in the other neighbors yard. Then they stopped building the wall to the agreed height, and began to fill it in with dirt. After pointing out the agreed height in the contract, they argued with me about having to get a permit to go any higher. I also pointed out that they said they would get the nessicary permits. They built the wall another foot and stopped again 3 feet from the where it was supposed ... Read more

I first started to listen to Tom 25yrs ago whe he truly cared about people. I had and still have a dangerous fuel related problem with my TransAm. After 80plus tries to solve the problem GM told me is was a design problem and I was out of luck. I am still driving a potential bomb! I called Tom's show and after an hour on hold he initiates the conversation by rudely chastising me for misprouncing his guest Rollie purify's name. I called him Raleigh. Very strained conversation with a recommendation that I take my vechicle to his friend Rollies dealership for another paid evaluation, 80 wasn't enough I guess and GM's comments about the design flaw and their unwillingness to step up was ignored! I have lost all respect for the man and some day he will realize that the all mighty dollor isn't nearly as important as integrety!! Tom, you're not the man you once were, and that my man is a sad thing!!

I honestly started thinking that my family was the only ones that are fed up with Mr. Martino. He is a joke if i have ever heard one!!! We do watch the news station he is on, but anytime we hear his name or his voice we turn the channel. It is just so irritating to see someone fight on the behalf of the consumer when he himself is a SCAM!!!!! I bet that not even 90% of people who use Mr. Martino and his referral list understand exactly how much you have to pay him to be put on that list. Its not a list of companies that do an excellent job or infact have a good reputation at all. The list consists of people that actually pay him to be referred. Companies do pay, dont get me wrong, I guess the power is all in the name TOM MARTINO, not the man. I have seen him bad mouth companies based on how they perform. Reading half of these reviews on the man himself should tell you he is in the wrong business. If one company opened a list for him to see of the many and many and many consumers ov... Read more

This dude is the biggest scam artist around. As a vendor, we pay money to this clown AND NEVER can get ahold of their staff. Emails, telephone call and even their web based trouble ticket system go unanswered! Even registered mail goes unanswered. ALL WE WANT IS OUR AD ADDRESS CHANGED! Here is the kicker. When we have written to Mr. Martino himself via certified mail he NEVER RESPONDS. A hypocrite this man is. Can you imagine what he would do to somebody if THEY (a "reputable") business acted like HIM?? He would make sure they closed their doors FOREVER with his bashing on his radio show. Maybe renaming the site to something like paidreferrallist.com would be more accurate of a description of who he is. We have gotten great clients from his site, so that money was well spent. But do it for the customer referrals. Don't expect Mr. Rip Off himself to be any sort of friend to the businesses that are paying him, especially for minor changes that you need done to your business ... Read more

Can we say American Greed!!! He started his program on helping the consumer and weeding out the bad businesses. Now he is in it for the money and that is it! This shows on the amount he charges to advertise with him and if you pay him, then he's on the crooks side. Check it out and you will see what I mean!!!

Mr Martino, I think you have very biased opinions. I honestly think your show is a joke, infact, I choose not to listen to your show anymore or really take your opinions seriously about anything for that matter any longer. I have no respect for a person who demands money to be on a list!!! Thank you anyway Tom!

I used to enjoy this show. Now he has become a Rush Limbaugh want-a-be and Mike is the last person in the world who should be on a consumer advocate show. They help no one in a dispute with a big company. He sold out to big business. His topics and opinions on economy and politics are a joke.

My computer recently died and not being computer literate, I signed on to Tom Martino's website. There I found John Bailey of A-Plus Systems. He was a great help determining it really was finished and advising me what to look for in a new system. I purchased a HP laptop, he installed everything and was very patient with me. I would highly recommend him.

Great Show! People need to realize he does charge to be on the list but that money goes to cover the services they provide beyond the show. I had an issue with a concrete guy and someone from the show actually called on my behalf and got them to finish the job. Try to get the yellow pages to do that for you!

Martino has become a joke. He doesn't help consumers like he used to. He's become a wannabe political talk show host. He belittles cosumers who call in. He himself has gotten so rich that he's lost site of the little guy who loses a few bucks and wants it back or doesn't think he should pay. Martino needs to retire and turn the show over to someone who truly cares.

Immediately after hearing the October 25th airing of your show, we attempted to reach you by many messages that were left to you, or to whom it may concern. At this point we realize you could care less the effect of the comments you made to our grieving family. Mr. Martino...your personal opinion of what a family does with what's left of a loved ones remains does not change or end the pain & need of our family. If you ever lost a child, your heart may feel different. Mindy, a friend's heart reached out to help our family and wanted to be an active voice for us. As Mindy tried to share twice with you and your listening audience about an injustice by a Police Department's neglect, not once, but twice, causing 10 years of pain & suffering to our family. The important focus of the call was, the more the media tells our story (refer to 10/12/06 channel 9 news), it may help another family in the same situation. We could only hope and pray the power of Tom Martino would "go to bat" for our fa... Read more

Tom Martino states over and over again on his show that is there is a complaint about any company on his referral list, he will investigate with full force. I filed a complaing against Grease Monkey 6 months ago, he sent one letter and that was it, i have tried to contact them twice a week for six months, I never get a call back any more! If their in his pocket he will NOT help you out!!!

As far as I can tell, many of the businesses listed on the Troubleshooter website think that they now have permission to charge more (and therefore, still rip off customers). When my garage door broke, I desperately looked up a garage door compamy on the list, and they tried to sell me a new garage door for over $1000. After getting a second opinion, it turns out the repair was minor, and I only ended up paying $150 for the fix.

I have a hard time believing anyone's advice when they demand payment to be on their list.It would be one thing if you were investigated and deemed worthy and then allowed on the list. Then you could be featured for an additional amount. The problem is that you have to pay to be on the list, one which may not and probably does not include the best in the business. Just because you are on someone's list does not make you better than others. I doubt that any of the people being advertised during this show are not on his list. He wouldn't even make his own list!

This is one of my favorite talk radio programs. It's informative and educational to hear the myriad issues callers come up with and the great solutions they often call in to provide one another, with Tom acting as host, mediator and Troubleshooter. Some folks don't like Tom's way of doing things, his famous short temper with callers who have crossed him and businesses he feels are doing consumers wrong etc, but I thoroughly enjoy the show, love that there is someone in the media who will actually put himself out there to advocate for people who might not otherwise have a voice and personally think Tom's way of running the show is half of what makes it a fun listen! People tend to either really like Tom or really hate him (I suspect many of his loudest detractors are some of the same folks who've found themselves in his crosshairs at some point). Whatever side you count yourself on, the show is worth a listen. There's a brief show demo at seattle206.onestop.net check him out!

I have found Toms show informative and helpful . I like the fact there is someone out there we can ask if we have a problem . I also like the fact someone is willing to take on crooks etc. He does get loud at times and my friends find that they don't like to listen to him because of that attitude. Overall I like the show except for the many commericals which I know they have to pay the Bills.

Hypocritical. Tom Martino has been well documented in what he accuses others- only to enjoy the same discourtesies. He gives bad advice- fortunately he has hired people to cover his back. Amazing how many times his own staff tells him he is wrong with his facts. Don't waste your time- Jerry Springer is more informative and helpful than Tom Martino.
