One of the finest to be put in theatres. Now, after watching the movie, I muse about how every animal has unique intelligence, and if they have this ability to communicate with others of their own species, then we can have them help solve crimes like Ms. De Vil did. Dr. Doolittle may not be necessary! Yes, I saw the live action, and Glenn Close was a good villain, but she can't match what the original anger and meaness the animated one did.Dorothy Gladys "Dodie" Smith (book author) made a great story, and maybe she did not mind that some characters from "Lady and the Tramp" were incorporated in the movie. The movie was almost in tune to the original writing Smith had. It made me have many feelings; it's one fine Masterpice to get.

The live action version was ok, but the animated version is the best.
