Being a Sherlock Holmes Fan I really enjoyed this one. I love Bassett Hounds so of course Toby is a great addition to the Film.

This movie would not be as close as Sherlock Holmes, but somehow, it give an idea what detactives are meant to do. Basil of course was after his archrival, Prof. Ratigan, who abducted a father. Overall, not much suspense was in it despite that later we figure out why the father was working as a slave to the professor.
