Not bad really, but seeing it quite loosely based on "Oliver Twist" can put it down some. I was entertained and I did like the songs. The plot was good enough for entertainment, and seeing the setting so true to the 80's and to make the secery look like NYC (With trademarks) gives it props. Oliver himself was cute all the way and a great character and the same goes with Dodger. It would not be one masterpice to own, but I say kudos to Disney to make one picture that mirrors the times of the 80's and how we should see some of the hardships homeless people face. A good lesson in sociology, if I should say so myself.

Update of Oliver Twist.Good contemporary songs by Billy Joel,Bette Midler & Huey Lewis. And who can resist the voice talent of Cheech Marin (From Cheech & Chong Flicks to Disney).
