I last saw this when I was six or seven and I still feel good about the movie. Whenever I see Ariel, I feel like I love her. The songs were great since they are more from the Caribbean and having a female villain in the recent times was fine for this movie. I know I'm older now, and I wish that I didn't know about the dirty secrets in the movie, but when I ignore them, it is a fine masterpiece to see. I don't know if Hans Christen Andersen will like this version (I never read the book, but saw another version), but it's one story about true love and sticking to one's aspirations that anyone can appreciate. Good Masterpice.

My personal favourite Disney movie. I loved the sea, and I still do. I'd always pretend I was a mermaid when I went swimming, and I know the song off by heart. Scuttle is the best. There's a little of him in all of us.

Some of the best collection of songs in a Disney Movie.

One of Disney's best recent movies. It had a very creative storyline and colorful charaters including Sebastin. And what's a Disney movie without music. My favorite song being Under the Sea.

My rawhide tough daughter, seeing this as a young child when it first came out, hated it for Ariel's wussiness. She's 18 now and she's even more vehement about it.

Entertaining, joyful and lighthearted, this film had wonderful songs, delightful characters and a sweet storyline. Nothing more than little girl fluff but it's certainly my personal favorite.
