The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh 5

That's one thing I'll never forget- a "TTFN" from Tigger which shows how ahead this movie is when it comes to text messaging. ( :-D )
The fact is that "The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh" itself has been ahead of its times when it was supposed to be an individual series of movies instead of a conglomerate. What a nice idea for Walter Elias Disney to make some shorts that were sucessful (one won an Academy award) into one that is memorable for all ages. To me it's funny that the characters, not including Christopher Robin talk to the narrator & audience and see themselves in the book. I did read a specialized book based on the movie, but it left out the last chapter shown in the movie. In my opinion, seeing it is better than reading the masterpice. Though Tigger and Piglet would rival Pooh in popularity, Pooh and his friends are household names all right, and this movie with its great characters of A.A. Milne is one of the best masterpices Disney has made. I'm sure that whoever has seen it for the first time, no one will forget Paul Winchell making Tigger's trademark exclaim of joy: Hoo-Hoo-Hoo-Hoo!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh 5

Something from Disney that I actually like, The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh is just too endearing. The animation is simple and charming (much like the hero of the story), and unlike the more modern Disney flicks, it doesn't try so hard to be funny with a barrage of cheap one-liners. Very lovable.
