"I Become Small and Go" is a lovely album about childhood. It's so sweetly sentimental and melodious that I chose to listen to it as my dentist filled me up with laughing gas and pulled my wisdom teeth out. Then Creeper got signed to a major label, only to be dumped after a more or less crappy second album (albeit "Wrecking Ball" was okay) which also was an utter commercial failure. Now where are they? If only these gifted SF bands could actually get somewhere ... if only Creeper could be remembered as more than another cautionary tale about the music industry and its false promises ...
