Someone who is good at what they do usually seem to have a lot of confidence and that's a good thing.

At the very most, occupational success shows you and whoever cares about such matters that your significant other is not a complete imbecile. Or an unambitious deadbeat. But apart from that, it doesn't really indicate much. Would you want someone who lied, cheated, and backstabbed his/her way to the top? Or someone who's willing to sacrifice everything--including you--for the boss? You'll only pay for it later.

"Success" is in the eye of the beholder. I'd rather date someone entry level who has a passion and pride for what he's doing then a CEO who: 1)practically hates life because all he does is work or 2) is only in it for the money and doesn't care who he hurts in the process as long as he gets what he wants.

I like how everyone claims that a person's job doesn't matter and takes the high road. . .sure, I see lots of attractive women with the homeless in D.C. It isn't everything, to be sure, but it does matter. . .

I find nothing of a turn on due to someones occupational success as they can still be an ugly being internally. Someone with drive, ambition, caring qualities and a love for what they do gets more of a thumbs up from me.

Sort of depends what the occupation is. A successful MacDonald's manager isn't going to shuffle my cards. A pretty middle of the road thing for me.

I have met many obnoxious creepos who had great careers.I have also met beautiful and brilliant, wonderful people with humble jobs. Not that success itself is a bad thing-but it's no way to pick a lover!!!

This may be a turn on for women, but I dont need to know a single thing about a womans income for her to be a turn on. If the category was what makes for a good long term or permanent mate, then yes it would matter, but not here.

While having a drive and passion to suceed is great and all, someone else's job just isn't a turn on.

If this means the guy is having a great career going for him, then yes it is a huge turn on...as I have said so many times before...there is nothing like an ambitious man...
