On the other hand, the list says "nightwear" as well as "lingerie," and I can assure you that a woman wrapped in heavy flannels, with her feet in wool worksocks and a toque on her head, is a real mood killer.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty frightened to see a man in my nightie.  Not my thing.  

Now, if he's in good shape and wearing nothing but a pair of jeans, now that's nice . . .

Not sold on the lingerie.  Some of it is pretty complicated - downright intimidating.  Granted, a silk slip is nice.  But rarely do girls seem to wear much to bed other than your boxers and t-shirt.  Although maybe the 30-something single career ladies have upped the bedwear attire.  Or maybe it's the guys duty to buy this stuff, which is why I've never dated anyone who wears it?

Why? It just takes more time to get to the main course.

There's nothing wrong with it, it makes everything better, so why not give it a 5?

Nothing beats an enticingly wrapped gift...

Stockings, a lacy bra and garter, topped off with high heels...wow nothing better. But buyer beware, lingerie can only enhance the good fortunes of an already sexy woman. Buying a Victoria Secret gift for a buffalo makes for a ....well...a buffalo in distressed sheer fabric.

A man in a negligee would look pretty silly.
